This class is designed for singers aged 8 and up who have the desire to sing in a vocal musical ensemble, and who would like to be introduced to the language of Music. Singers who have some music background and are familiar with basic music theory concepts, through their time in CYC or from other music programs, will be able to explore the depths in vocal singing.
Rhythm, tone, vocal technique, phrasing, theory, sight-singing, solfege and culture studies based on our works will be part of regular rehearsals, as well as the development of proper concert etiquette.
Materials needed:
• Singers will be provided with a choir binder.
• Singers are required to have three pencils at each rehearsal
• Bottled water is a must, please label bottle with your name
