Placement auditions will be held on Tuesday, January 9 from 4:00-5:30pm.
Rehearsals will be 4:00 - 5:30pm each Wednesday.

Con Brio is the premier vocal ensemble in the CYC program. The ensemble is designed for the advanced high school aged singer wanting to explore the depths of the choral and solo singing through the wondrous masterworks vocal music has to offer.
Rhythm, tone, vocal technique, phrasing, theory, sight-singing, count singing, solfege and contextual culture study will be a part of regular rehearsals, as well as the development of concert etiquette and critique.
Materials needed:
• Singers will be provided with a choir binder.
• Singers are required to have three pencils at each rehearsal
• Bottled water is a must, please label bottle with your name

Allegria & Con Brio
Allegria is designed to be an exploratory music ensemble aimed specifically at the maturation of the tremble voice, as well as the development of general musicianship through solo singing.
Rhythm, tone, vocal technique, phrasing, theory, sight-singing, count singing, solfege and contextual culture study will be a part of regular rehearsals, as well as the development of professionalism and effective music critique.
